Throughout the ages, budgies have not
only been keep as pets but as showbirds. They are now
big business in Ireland and some birds can fetch thousands
of pounds for their pedigree. They are distinguishable
with their own beautiful plumage and colouring.
Many shows have been held both in Ireland and abroad for
these wonderful budgies. There is a big difference from
your ordinary pet shop budgie to a top class bird such as
